Flash and MSIE.

Earlier this month, Microsoft was required by a recent court ruling to modify the way Internet Explorer handles Flash. The modification disables Active X elements (including Flash) until a user clicks on the page. In short, users will have to click away a prompt before being able to interact with the Flash.

If this is a concern for you, a workaround is available. Contact us for details on the patch.

Geek with a mic

In February, Stefan and Michael found themselves in a sound booth talking about Web 2.0 for a piece that aired on NPR’s Marketplace.

More recently, Aaron took on the role of geek with a mic to talk again with SDPB correspondent, Curt Nikish, about the release of Electric Pulp’s new application, Feed Rinse. An audio archive of the SDPB piece can be found here.

EP clients honored at Governor's Giant Vision Business Awards

First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard was honored last night as SD Business of the Year. Congratulations to PBI, they’ve been a huge community supporter and are very deserving of the award.

Brian Klock of Klock Werks was also recognized by the Governor’s Giant Vision Business Awards. His award was given for a strategic online growth plan involving his uber popular kustomcycles.com site.

New phone systems: irritating or entertaining? You be the judge.

Having just moved into our brand spankin’ new office, we’re enjoying all the benefits of trying to comprehend our new phone system.  While figuring out how to transfer and pick up calls might seem like the most important functions to understand, we’re currently concentrating all our efforts on getting the sweet, sweet sounds of warbly celtic music off of our hold music.

You have to have priorities.

Next we’re moving on to customized ringers for every workstation.

This is where we create a real live div whose only purpose is to nurture a couple of trees. We're really looking forward to CSS3.
