From Pulp Truck to Electric Car.

Some of you may be familiar with our previous, nubby tired, company vehicle, the Pulp Truck. We bought the vehicle for travel convenience and then stickered it up to let the world know when we were near.

But then we started hearing about this global warming thing. Maybe the world was aware of us for reasons other than our stickers and vanity plates? Maybe the planet knew us more by our emissions?

That left a bad taste in our mouths (perhaps it was actually a foul smell in the air?) Anyway, last week we heard Al Gore speak. And if nothing else, we can tell you that he has a promising career in car sales if his documentary efforts don’t take off. Shortly after hearing him speak, we went out and bought a 60mpg, low emission hybrid. (Okay, we were going to do it any way, but that doesn’t mean Gore couldn’t sell cars.)

So, if you start seeing a little red Prius speeding around the area with PULP license plates, don’t worry. No Touaregs were hurt in the transition. And if we ever cut you off, weaving in and out of traffic, we’re sorry. The last electric car we had was a TYCO race car - we’re still adjusting.

Nic, we’d have pics if it wasn’t -20 outside. It’s a lot smaller than the truck, so maybe we’ll just pull it inside to take the shots.

Brienne, I know your dreams of getting Grave Digger as a corporate rig are pretty much crushed at this point, but don’t give up hope. In the meantime, check out this sweet rig.
