We used to talk at length about the number of inquires we felt we could field in a day. You couldn’t get near the water cooler without getting pulled into the debates. I think one of the Michael’s even wrote an equation to figure it out once.
And then Guy Kawasaki good-gamed us on his blog and set an emergency experiment into motion.
Long story short, we found our number. Actually, I think we lapped it a few times.
So, if it took / is taking us longer than a few minutes to get back to you, it isn’t you, it’s us. We’re working hard to get our [response] groove back. In the meantime, just know that we sincerely appreciate the time people are taking to tell us about their ideas. It looks like we’ll be working on awesome projects for the foreseeable future.

Congratulations, you guys deserve it! I have been “in the business” for more than ten years and have rarely seen a company that combines the design and development skills your company shows.
P.S. AJAX has become such a buzzword, and so many companies and designers claim mastery…. It’s nice to see AJAX in action.

Congratulations mates.
Did you take a look at your Alexa stats? That link from Guy was magic!

Thanks to you both. I hadn’t seen Alexa since it started to catch up - we better put that spike away before somebody gets hurt.

Hey guys, I just came accross your site.. excellent work !!
I’m always glad to see a group of similar rofessionals succeed at their dreams. I only aspire to be 1/100th as successful and I wish it were as easy as you made it appear. I operate as a freelance designer from a remote area as well and I hope a LOT of people see your article. Hopefully it will raise awareness and give people the confidence they need to work with a remote team.
Anyhow, keep up the good work… it’s very encouraging !!!
Thanks,

I read the Guy Kawaskai article and it blew me away. The world needs more agencies doing the great work you’re doing, and more people need to be able to have access to that kind of work. Good luck in fielding all the work requests; good luck for the world’s sake!
