24HoursOfReality.orgAl Gore’s Climate Reality Project

Founded by former Vice President Al Gore, The Climate Reality Project is dedicated to raising awareness and spurring action to fight the global climate crisis. No small effort.

In September of 2012, The Climate Reality Project ran a 24 hour broadcast event via the web, beginning with speakers live from Mexico City and closing with Al Gore in New York. By the time the event had closed, 5,896,125 people had tuned in around the world. The stream was accessed over 6.8m times.

The 24 Hours of Reality event was recognized by the Cannes Lion Festival and earned a Silver Lion award for Integrated Branded Content.

This site also served as the introduction of The Climate Reality Project as a unified organization. In addition to the video integration, the site came fully equipped with heavy social network integration and content internationalization.
